CrossFit is core strength and conditioning program whose goal is to develop real world fitness for its participants. The program consists of constantly varied, prescribed workouts performed in groups of 10 or less that are scalable and indilvidualized for each person from the elite athlete to the grandparent. Workouts of the Day (or WODs) are led by CrossFit trainers who first teach the program in foundation classes and then lead, monitor and assist in every workout. Trainers also teach health, fitness and nutrition to their CrossFit classes. The program is led by CrossFit® a worldwide organization of CrossFit affiliate gyms, or “Boxes” like CrossFit Andalusia.
